It's like it comes out of nowhere
And suddenly I'm right back
One call and I fall in the past
Little corners where you lay your traps
It's all a game to you
(It's like it comes out of nowhere)
I've been calling for you
Do you really wanna open up the door?
I've been calling for you
And it's such a shame
With all odds against them
How they got away
But the house still haunts them
Every now and then
We can hear them dancing
Say you're tired
Well have you tried
To walk back through the walls of my mind?
You don't wanna
See the light
In the hallway
It's like it comes out of nowhere
And finally I fight back
I'm not as small as you act
You don't know it but you made your bed
It's all laid out for you
(It's like it comes out of nowhere)
I've been calling for you
Do you really wanna open up the door?
I've been calling for you
And it's such a shame
With all odds against them
How they got away
But the house still haunts them
Every now and then
We can hear them dancing
(I actually, um, turn on all the lights Because I'm scared of the dark
If you have like a toy that's really scary
And like always scares you
And like, it comes to life in your dreams
You have to stand up to it
Like that toy is not even real, come on!)
We'll go on
We'll see a light
You'll hold on to the end of my hand
We can't cry if
We don't try
We don't hide from anybody
Trust us
Just you and I
As long as the both of us try
To hold on
It's a cold life
We don't run from anyone
And it's such a shame
With all odds against them
How they got away
But the house still haunts them
Every now and then
We can hear them dancing
We can hear them dancing
And it's such a shame
With all odds against them
How they got away
But the house still haunts them
Every now and then
We can hear them dancing
We can hear them dancing

WOW just WOW. I have been looking for this sound for years! Finally stumbled across Covet and instantly ordered the vinyl, bought the digital and preordered the new album. I love it. adamskitapedelay

Memories and Comeback Kid were my first introduction to this band. From then on - I've always gone to the Midnight for easy listening. Waiting for a bus - Standing in line - Going grocery shopping and pretty much everywhere and anywhere. You can listen to this track over and over again and I feel like it doesn't get old. solstra
